"My favorite memory of SWE is the first-ever GIM I went to, where I felt so awkward and nervous to go to. But then people whom I didn’t even know started talking to me and really made me feel included and welcome! And I joined SWE because I wanted to be a part of a group of like minded individuals who aim to empower women in a male dominated field! I feel it’s important to have that in engineering, and SWE was the way to show that."
